Drills are question sets on a single topic that help you learn more efficiently and better remember what you've learned. Drills can be created manually or you can upload them. Companies and educational institutions can also generate drills automatically via the Drillster API.
When creating a drill in the editor you can use different question types and question variants. This prevents a participant from seeing the same question over and over again about the same knowledge element. Doing this ensures an adaptive way of learning and increases the motivation to get a drill at a 100% level for the participant. Do you want to know how to make a great drill? Then click here. You can create a new drill in two different ways, via:
- Drill name: Name of the drill. This shows the exact label of the drill, such as Difficult words, chapter 5.
- Subject: What the drill is about. This indicates to which field the drill belongs, like French.
- Description: A challenging description for the participant ensures more involvement. This allows the participant to see what he can expect and challenges them to practice their knowledge on this subject.
- Tags: Keywords that will make the drill easier to find in the library of the participant and in the Drill store.

Besides adding media, you can also change the formatting of the text. Would you like to know more about this? Please click here. Changes are automatically saved, but are not immediately visible to participants.
Now the drill can be published in the drillstore, forwarded to users, added to groups and courses, and used for tests. Attention! You can only publish drills in the drillstore if your account allows it. You can find more information about the different accounts here.
